Join Masankho & Leah in beautiful Belize for a Storytelling, InterPlay & Yoga Retreat. When Masankho was growing up in Malawi, there was always someone who was telling him a story. Stories were used to entertain, to teach values and morality and to improve cultural understanding. Stories also taught him how to express himself. We are all storytellers. However, we all can be better storytellers. In this retreat using InterPlay (www.interplay.org), Ashtanga Yoga with Leah and lifetime of storytelling skills learned from his Elders in Malawi, Central Africa Masankho will share with with YOU the secrets to being the storyteller YOU have always wanted to be.
During this retreat you will learn:

• how to pace your stories
• how to use the body to express yourself
• The art of improvising stories
• The art of telling stories in groups (duets & more)
• how and when to accents
• how to effectively use eye contact
• about career options using storytelling

Masankho is an International Performing Artist and InterPlay Leader who has been listening to and telling stories since he was a child. Masankho tours the world telling stories and teaching the craft of storytelling. Masankho is a member of the National Association of Black Storytellers (NABS) and the National Storytellers Network (NSN). Leah, (Dynamic Ashtanga Yoga Flow teacher) fresh off the shores of India, incorporates traditional ashtanga yoga, dynamic yoga, breath work, meditation, and all sorts of flare into her traveling yoga classes. She teaches across the South East, offering the magic of connection with your body, mind, and breath as a means to heal the soul across all walks of life.
Registration: $1199 includes retreat, transfers, accommodation & all meals. Please book your plane tickets to arrive in Belize City before 4pm on the 20th. You will be picked up at the airport. Corozal is 8 miles north of Belize City.
