Kentucky public librarians -- Earn up to 1 CRP toward certification for the entire conference. (see CRP credits in schedule below. Sign in required at each session.)

Teachers -- please check with your district to learn what professional development credit may be earned through your conference participation.

Interpreters –- We will post information on CEUs for you as soon as it becomes available.

Knowledge Center on Deafness

This is a non-profit organization that strives to support and carry out the educational, cultural, intellectual and charitable goals of deaf and hard of hearing Kentuckians. Through the arts, deaf and hard of hearing people of all ages are given the opportunity to express their talents, to participate in society to their individual potential, and to reduce their isolation regardless of location, socio-economic status, or degree of hearing loss. KCD uses the arts to mobilize the necessary resources to improve the educational, economic and cultural quality of life for all deaf and hard of hearing citizens of the Commonwealth.”

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports the 5th Kentucky Storytelling Conference with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Buck, the best with the storytelling conference in Kentucky. What a worthwhile endeavor and adventure. Would love to come, maybe next year! Is there a train station near by? Would be a wonderful trip to and from Oakland, CA! Have the greatest of storytelling.

There will be excellent workshops by Mary Hamilton, Cynthia Changaris and others... including me. My workshop is on Story Development. I hope you all will make an effort to attend... you won't be sorry.
