Event Description

The great whale breaches the salty sea. If you thought “Moby Dick” was too long or confusing, here's Melville in 50 minutes with philosophical digressions, shaggy dog stories, some really bad jokes. Loren Niemi offers an off-the “Cliff Notes” version of the great American novel of obsession while expanding Melville’s imagery with stories that draw on his experience of reading the novel in particular times and resonate places. There is a coffin floating on a dark sea. The story continues...
