I’ll be performing my show, “The Spirit of Vaudeville” at the Ringwood Library on Thursday April 20th at 2 pm. The show won a BEST CONCERT AWARD at the United Solo Theater Festival in NYC. I will be joined by guitarist, Flip Peters.
The tale is told through banjo strumming, eccentric tap dancing, vaudeville stories, ukulele and mandolin solos, and wacky Charleston dances that include the Yiddishe Charleston, the Russian Charleston and the Scottish Charleston played on the Highland bagpipes.
“... deftly offhanded bravura...” - NY Times
"...a real show stopper..." - New York Post
"...impeccable period style..." - NY Daily News
I will also perform my, “Pecos Bill Rides the Oregon Trail” show for children at 11 am. The show combines Pecos Bill stories, cowboy songs on guitar, mandolin & banjo, clog dancing and cowboy rope tricks.
I have worked as an actor on Broadway and has performed in regional theaters and national tours from New Jersey to Alaska.
