I'm glad that you saw my invite on the UK Society for Storytellers Group through Facebook. This group among other storytelling Facebook groups are important to me.
When I posted it on the group, I wasn't sure how often people checked out the site. Welcome aboard.
I was invited by Sylvia Payne, and so far am delighted with the options and opportunities this site has to offer -- especially the group discussions and forums where knotty storytelling programs can be discussed -- and possibly solved!

Hi Dianne - I heard about it from Priscilla Howe and Sean Buvala at the Outside In Storytelling Boot-camp, which I heartily recommend to anyone who is interested in improving not only their marketing skills, but how they think about themselves as storytellers.
I was emailed the link by my father, who received it from Oel Castner. I'm new to storytelling and would like to tell professionally. I'm looking forward to being able to network and meet other tellers, thank you for setting up this site. What a great idea! :)
Don't recall where you went, if you're back, or what - But, can you BELIEVE what's happened since you left town!?
This thing is exploding!!
You were urging us to get after it so we could break 100 - ONE-measley-HUNDRED!!??
LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE! You leave (home? the South? the country?) and the joint goes crazy. 150+!
(Yeah, I know, Tim's goin' crazy, but, hey - DIS IS HUGE!!!)
Anyway, obviously, you have a lot of supporters who will not keep their mouths shut when it comes to tooting your horn!
So, major, major congratulations!
You must be thrilled - and I am very happy for your remarkable success. This has already touched so many lives, and just try to guess how many more lives will be touched as the site - "PS, I LOVE YOU!" - continues to grow.
Well done, Kiddo - we're proud of ya and happy for you!
We still are doing great to hit 200 by March 20th.
I will be attending a Children's Literature Forum this Thursday and Friday. Since authors and storytellers are "cousins", the response could be big. While I pass my business cards, I will give a slip of paper with the web address. When I give a card, I usually get one in return so there is follow-up potential.
This will give me an extra "excuse" to network with people, not that I need one.
One thing I haven't done yet is broadcast the invitation to my mailing list. But I think I will send out a "Professional Storyteller" Alert... inviting pro tellers and then invite promotors and interested parties to go "look at the pages." Do you think this falls within the mission of our PS Community?
