This is great news! I plan to visit my aunt in Dublin and uncle in Cork in 2010-2011 winter. I'll also be in France with my daughter so these postings are very useful.

Dublin Yarnspinners have a Facebook page as well! 2nd Thursday each month.

There is a gathering in Galway called Story Night, first Tuesday of every month. Yarnspinners in Cork and in Dublin, unsure of their dates. Narrative Arts Club in Dublin. And also a new group in Dublin called Milk and cookies which is very much a story swap...they are on facebook and have a website www.milkandcookies.com Liz has all the info on Yarnspinners and the gatherings in the North.

We're definitely not short of story swaps!

Thanks. I am very anxious to explore all that Fest has to offer. To begin with, though I'd like to invite all story tellers in Ireland to consider a form of story stop. Please let me know if interested.

Interested in getting the word out about my documentary film Stories of the Fairy Folk. I also have a creative arts educational package to accompany the film and encourage children to tell their own tales. Any thoughts of good avenues to check out?
