I just had the amazing experience of telling in a delightful teahouse in Suzhou, China. It was a first time ever telling of a foreigner with a master Yangzhou pinghua teller. We told bilingually, me in English and he in YZ dialect, to a very enthusiastic audience. We were in the papers and on TV. All this was worth dodging the swine flu threats!

Hi Storytellers! I'm excited to announce that my book, HAUNTED NAPERVILLE, will be published October 12, 2009 by Arcadia Publishing...and I just signed a contract to write EERIE AURORA for next year! Both books discuss the haunted history of two major cities in Illinois. I'm currently out-of-stock of my CD LATE NIGHT FRIGHT, but I'm planning to sell them as downloads from my web site...once I figure out how to do that, sigh! Happy hauntings...

Thank you, Diane, for making it possible to post our CDs and other storytelling products here on the Professional Storyteller Site. I have been searching Amazon and Storyteller.net and other places on-line to see what other storytellers have published and have probably kept a good number in business through my purchases - especially in the book area. Each purchase is like taking a separate class, and gives me the chance to learn about the tellers' different styles. Best to you as you continue to help us all become the best that we can be in this wonderful storytelling world.
