I live in an area of BC where there were several internment camps for Japanese Canadians during WW2. I got a former resident Aya Higashi, to tell her family's story at our local festival. It was moving.
Alton.. I watched your video "What you don't know..." You have honored your family. I am so priviledged to begin to know you. Thank you for your service to our country.
You said "little nibbles" ah yes and there is some sweet saw grass here. I am glad you are here and hope to get to know you better. I see you are working with my friend Lyn Ford. Any friend of hers.. is a friend of mine.
That IS a beautiful webpage! Welcome to our little spot of the web universe. Tom is right about this site.. you will love it. Welcome and have a great time here... you will love the groups, discussions and the fun video and you can even upload your own audio and video. Join us in the Marketing or Fishbowl or any one of the other great groups.
Congratulations on that prestigious honor, and Welcome!
You have a beautiful website, to which I'll return following my greetings to you.
You're gonna love this place, and I can't wait to hear you - please post some audiofiles so we can enjoy your work.
Your perspective is, indeed, a "unique" one, and I would especially like to hear your stories of the horror of WWII - those stories need to be told far and wide....
Anyway, check out all the bells and whistles available here; ask for help if you need it (most of us had to), folks here are eager to help.
I'm delighted you're here, looking fwd to your sharing with us, wishing you the very best, anticipating catching you 'live' before too long and, again, sending my best wishes for a warm Welcome!
