A writer for 20 years and a storyteller (pro) for 7 years. I tell both traditional and self penned stories. I have been a writer in residence in many many schools. My first professional story telling gig was in a tepee on the island of Anglesey in Wales.
At the moment I'm researching the possibility of opening Liverpool's first storytelling club, which I hope to open this year.
Thanks for your generous words Bill. I like to think that my words work as well as my wood works, although I suppose thats for others to judge. Its always good to get a few storytellers in the audience to have their say and I just need to get telling a few more storytelling festivals and clubs. I'm glad you also liked the website, as that too is also home made! Perhaps you'll let me know when your club is up and running and when I'm out and about on my travels I could come along and share some of my tales with you...
We did indeed meet at the Gathering. You had us in stitches! Your presence filled the Hall with an infectious laughter and enthusiasm; couldn't help but get swept into the tale. My eye's already set on next year's Gathering. See you then?
