Bob Linsenmayer, the Singing Storyteller, began performing professionally in the late 1950s as a folksinger while attending college in the San Francisco Bay area. He played the same clubs as the Kingston Trio and the Smothers Brothers. He then spent 30 years in the export business traveling the world while raising a family in the Chicago area. In 1996 he and his wife Sheryl retired to South Carolina and Bob began presenting music and storytelling programs in schools, libraries and at festivals. He learned the storytelling craft while studying with master storytellers and at Eastern Tennessee State University and at numerous workshops. He has performed hundreds of storytelling/music programs for kids and adults.
"Litter makes me bitter" too! What a great song and the kids loved it. Way to go! I took the pledge and I don't ever want to eat a "frog-gut" pie. Have a great day
I am hoping you will post some of your songs on this site. I would love to hear them...Glad you found this site... what a great group o fpeople. you will see what i mean.... jump in with both feet.
Well, welcome! I suppose you're learning your way around this site just as I am. I won't be able to go to the Patchwork Festival this year, but I will certainly miss seeing everyone. Diane Williams does such a fantastic job with it.
I just found you on this site - it's just awesome! I am brand new at this so I'm still learning my way around and learning how to maneuver all the buttons and whistles.
I am so glad to see some folks on this site that I actually know. This is exciting.
Welcome to Professional Storyteller. I think you will enjoy our site's community. There are so many wonderful storytellers here! Can you put up some audio? I'd love to hear your singing stories! Best wishes...

Glad to know you love to sing--that it is even in your title as "the Singing Storyteller".
I am a fan of the Kingston Trio.
Welcome to the site.
Until we tell again,
