well, i've been in storytelling for about 8 1/2 years, but i don't tell very often anymore. i still love the art and belong to two storytelling groups in my area.
What a great site PS has become and what a great community of tellers. Forgive me for being so late in greeting you. My heart decided to throw a little surprise party at the emergency room... not a heart attack just Pericarditis (non-lethal... only painful condition). I am recovering nicely, was able to go ahead and get married and move. So you might forgive my late greeting. Hope you join some of the groups... mine will pick back up as I get more settled into our new routines. Anyway... welcome to PS and I hope you learn to love it and this wonderful collection of tellers as much as I do.
i always wanted to be involved in the arts..but i'm first going to UF for an undergraduate degree in Political Science and then to Tokyo University to continue in Foreign Studies *crosses fingers*
Aim for the stars, and you're guaranteed to land on the moon ^^
well the good thing about the storytelling community is that you can talk to someone you haven't seen in months as if they lived right down the street =)
Please give jeremy, and anyone else you talk to, my regards
what are you planning on doing after high school? time flies by so fast...grrrr...
I don't feel safe anymore then if even home schoolers get affected.
it's understandable that storytelling ebbs away every now and again from the life of us teenagers, but a least there are guilds that keep us grounded (>^.^)>
have you been in contact with anyone since NYSS? i'm horrible with the "keep in touch" thing -.-
It's funny that i just decided to check my email before i go to bed =) I was working on a summer dissertation (ggrrr)
I haven't been doing anything much since the summer's started. i've been babysitting practically every kid in the neighborhood...I guess parents see it as their vacation ^^
I'm going to the Storytelling Conference in Gatlinburg Aug. 5 with Ann and some others...I'm pretty excited to go North again and meet up with some of the gang
Welcome to Professional Storyteller! I hope you enjoy this online forum and connect with other tellers around the globe. And... start telling again! It's how we connect with each other! Best wishes...
