I am a fifth generation Californian who grew up in foggy redwood country and went forth to travel the world. I love traditional tales, the older the better, with particular fondness for medieval stories, ancient epics and mysterious myths told to adults and young adults. I've been performing since 1982, full time since1999, in all sorts of venues from California graveyards to Buddhist caves along the Silk Road. Songs and dittys and wit and language from all cultures creep into my performances whenever possible and no rotten tomatoes have landed on me yet. (I know when to duck)
New or seasoned storyteller there is so much to learn and share in here so many ideas, interesting writings, promotional activities, and coaching. Best yet lots of new freinds!
