I'm a Toronto-based storyteller and author of Suddenly They Heard Footsteps - Storytelling for the Twenty-first Century. In l978 I founded 1,001 Friday Nights of Storytelling (still running weekly) and in l979 I founded the Toronto Festival of Storytelling. I received the l999 Jane Jacobs Prize for doing storytelling in the community.
