Professional Storyteller is a network for people who work in the field of oral storytelling. Please write a brief paragraph about your work.
I'm a story educator, who has just launched a learning centre for children called EVER AFTER. I conduct storytelling sessions and after-school courses using stories as the basis for learning concepts across curricular areas, namely, Language, Social Sciences and Science.

I would love to collaborate with story educators from all over the world, exchange ideas and share opinions on how to make stories a part of every child's learning curve.

I believe it's important to blend tradition and modernity to make anything successful and storytelling is one aspect where this is possible. I attended a Bootcamp on Digital Storytelling at the Singapore International Storytelling Festival in 2010 and through the process of the workshop was convinced about the power of a personal narrative. I now want to promote the use of this tool in education as well. Hope to conduct workshops in the future.

Please take a look at my website and if my work interests you, please feel free to share your feedback with me. You can find me on facebook at www.facebook.com/everafterlearning; my Twitter handles @everafterlearn.

Hope to connect with as many wonderful people in this forum as I can.

Cheers!

Welcome! Are you using your storytelling in Corporate offices? I love to hear when big corporations pick up storytelling as a useful tool in the work place!
