Though Illinois has so many haunts it's hard to keep track of them (though we sure do try, by golly!) I'd vote for Resurrection Mary, aka the Vanishing Hitchhiker of Willow Springs, southwest of Chicago. I love to tell that story, followed by my o...

Hi Storytellers! I'm excited to announce that my book, HAUNTED NAPERVILLE, will be published October 12, 2009 by Arcadia Publishing...and I just signed a contract to write EERIE AURORA for next year! Both books discuss the haunted history of two m...

This is the place for Ghost Storytellers to try out their new ghost stories, to cross reference ghost stories, to look for ghost stories, and to do all things ghost stories. Happy Haunting.

Thanks for the new group, Dan! This is right up my dark alley! On my CD, "Late Night Fright: Tales of Supernatural Terror and Macabre Mirth," I opened and closed each track/story with appropriate sound effects. For example, for a story about a gh...

Profile Information

About Me:
During an after-hours party at a Northlands Storyteller Conference, I was christened "America's Ghost Storyteller" because I was the only professional storyteller specializing exclusively in ghost stories. Wow, I guess we were wrong! How great to meet other hauntingly-inclined storytellers like myself! I don't travel much anymore thanks to a disability, but I still run my Historic Ghost Tours of Naperville, Illinois...and my book, "Haunted Naperville" is coming out this summer 2009 from Arcadia Publishing.
