Hi there! I am spreading the word about the new World Storytelling Day group:

If you know of any storytelling events happening near you in March, let me know, and make sure to add them to the World Storytelling Day event list.

Hello Edith,

Haven't met you officially but now we see your pix. Love the fact that you are movement based in your storytelling. We are too. Nancy & I are a kinetic story theater duet called Eth-Noh-Tec. We create storytelling delegations to Asia. Next trip is INDIA! Chennai- where we'll engage on a deep level with master storytellers and other story-based arts: puppeteers, street theater, musicians, balladeers in Tamil & Irula indigenous tribal artists. It's grass-roots. It's artist-based. It's on an engaging COMMUNITY level. Visit our website: and find out about the trip: Nov 1-16, 2008. We are now taking in applicants. We're limiting the delegation to 30 people.

Welcome to Professional Storyteller! Glad that you made it to the site. Do you know Arianna Ross from the Washington, DC area? She lived in India and also weaves Indian tales with dance. So cool to meet someone else who dances their tales! I hope you enjoy exploring the site. Be sure to check out the groups - lots of great discussions and information. Best wishes and Happy Tales to you!
