Cheers for the comment. I hope to head to Scotland soon, I am dying to do that northern railway line! I will try to post on the Celtic discussion soon...a favourite Celtic tale for children..So that means I have to pick one?!?

Thanks for the comment. Looking forward to seeing you in Dundee too - we will be in the Botanics again - but hopefully it'll be open this time!
It's a shame you won't be here on the 7th June - we're having a family storytelling day.
29. + 30. of april.
Marianne Stenderud er så sød at være ansvarlig for det...
ses vi?
As you pherhaps already know, I am comming to Stavanger, to tell. It is in april...
will I see you?
I saw your comment about Cornwall on Jill's page and am delighted to find a Scottish/Cornish connection. I too love the Arthurian tales, as well as other Celtic tales from down here and beyond, including the old Cornish tales. I agree about teaching storytelling...and children light up with it, don't they?
Thank you for caring about diversity and equity in your work. We need this more and more often. all my best, Kevin Cordi www.kevincordi.com
Thanks for your welcome!
I find it amazing that the way stories for telling are structured so that they are almost instantly memorisable by the audience. (is that a word?) I'd love to be able to create a tale that would spread so easily.
We teach kids to write stories on www.kidsonthenet.com I'm wondering whether we could get them telling stories as podcasts, or videos or whether storytelling only works in person. Any thoughts?

I am thrilled that you enjoy teaching children to be storytellers. You may want to join the Youth, Educators, and Storytellers Alliance on Professional Storyteller.
Since you have joined the Celtic Storytellers group, you have met Dave and Carol Sharp. You will definitely have much to share.
Until we tell again,
Rachel Hedman
