Several years ago I saw Eth-Noh-Tec at the Texas Storytelling Festival. Thank you for an experience that deepened my understanding and acceptance of the difficult situations and histories that we juggle with in our lives.
What a wonderful message and Happy Mother's Day to you! I have just been caring for my son's three sons (7,5 & 3) so the parents could get away. What a riot and a joy. We spent more than month tangoing in Buenos Aires and will be hosting a free tango milonga at the De Young Museum on June 27th, 6-8 PM if you are back from India...thrilling! Hope to see you two too. I am looking forward to your sessions at the National Conference this August. I hope your schedule allows you to be rested and ready to go. You are doing a lot for the NSN over the few days in Gattlinburg. Please know your efforts are appreciated. Thank you Millie! Yes it was great to connect fact-to-name... especially great to meet someone who ALSO knows Eric Miller in India. The INDIA Delegation is just now making it's announcement to the National storytelling community. I may use this website to help get the word out. I'd also like to find out MORE about the World Directory. We've been networking, meeting and exchanging with the storytelling communities in Asia this would be a good time to be a part of your directory.
Eth-Noh-Tec with Nancy Wang and Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo weave a kinetic, musical, theatrical spin on storytelling that at once is spellbinding mythology. Their neo-traditional, Asian American style of storytelling uses a blend of Asian instruments, stylized dance theater and synchronous dialogue to depict ancient metaphors with modern messages.
