NO, the point that is important is liking the book you three wrote. But it is a help to an author or buy their book.

I like Mission. Bit of a sleepiness to it, or was the last time I was there - maybe 7 years ago. Congrats on the book contract. I've read bits and pieces of the one you and Celia and Merle wrote - I like it. I own it, more to the point in some ways!
Here I am up late and typing when I should be flossing. g'night

Hi Gail, long time no come back to the site! I have spent some time here today, and it is only my second visit. I did figure out how to get my picture up, on the second try! And I accepted friends but lost one that had asked...cyberspace ate him up. I also wrote comments that vanished, but I've figured that one out too. I should do this earlier in the day when I have some smarts about me, but I'm busy then hustling up work, or doing it! How are you doing?

Hello Gail,
You are the first person to ask to be my friend. Thank you. I'm delighted, I guess. I find being here at all a bit odd, but I am giving it a whirl, as Dale and Cindy are so encouraging. I will learn. What is the difference between having a friend and being a member along with everyone else? If my ignorance is showing, well, so be it. Can't learn if don't ask. Though some might say I could keep quiet and just pay attention....!

Thanks for the welcome!
Hope all is well with you.
I am doing fine.
I wish I could go to Victoria, but unfortunately I can't, for various reasons.
Maybe St. John's in 2010 - who knows?
All the best!

Gail,
Welcome to the Jewish Storytelling group. We have a couple of interesting discussions going no at the moment, although the pace slowed down a bit during the holiday season. Please feel free to join in the conversations already underway, and also to initiate new topics.
PS - My wife and I spent a couple of weeks cruising through Alberta this summer and had a terrific time. Hit Medicine Hat, Calgary, Drumheller, Banff, Jasper, H-S-I-Buffalo Jump, Waterton and many points of interest between. Such a beautiful country. You are fortunate to be there. --- Marc Young

So do you get gifts every night of Chanukah? I give my friend Gail (another Gail who lives next door) gifts for every night but no longer do what I did the first year: put the proper number of cutout paper candles on the gifts to indicate which should be opened when. It took FOREVER to cut out all the candles! Now she just gets to choose which one to open when. Best for the season. Now I really am going to get to work!

According to this we are now friends, but I like to think we've been friends for years! :-) I'm just about to start wrapping gifts, successfully ignoring piled up work and a story that needs to be ready for telling at church on Christmas Eve.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
