Hi Gerald
So sorry that I have not written for some time....no excuses, just life I am afraid!
Hope you are back into the swing after your Spanish visit, seems a long time ago now!
Well, I am at that age where I need two sets of glasses and when I left the meeting I left my reading glasses there. I emailed Margarita and she said that she had a pair. Well fortunately I have a friend from my town who teaches in a private school in Cordoba and she kindly said she would collect them for me. Well when she handed them to me I could see there was a problem...they were pink!...yep, the wrong glasses!! Hee hee. Eventually I did get them back though.
Story wise I have now got two bookings from your meeting. Two days in one primary school and another day in their neighborouring school...and then quite by coincidence I have another booking on the caost at an International school in Marbella....the richest town on the coast. And would you believe they are all for the same week!! So from famine to feast....just hope the voice holds out! I am going to visit the Cordoba schools tomorrow to plan with them. Margarita also wants to come and watch and she asked for my CV.
SO, many thanks for your kindness in letting me come along and I will keep you informed of what happens.
Hope work and life is going well for you too.
The weather here has been beautiful for some time although today is grey...boo.
Take care
Kevin
Greetings! I hope you like Professional Storyteller. I sure do! Won't you consider participating in the "Applied Storytelling: the Power of Story" group? We would love to have you! Best wishes. STEVE
Gerald, you are a gentleman! How very kind of you. I shall give the organiser a ring today and see if I can join you.
I hope you have a great flight out here and a good time in madrid. It is quite cold and very rainy at the moment so come prepared. The whole of europe is having very strange weather at the moment. Madrid did have some snow not very long ago. (It is the highest capital city in Europe).
Take care and many thanks again.
Kevin
Hi Gerald.
I was interested to read that you are coming to Spain to perform soon? I would be most interested to hear more. I have lived in Andalusia for four years now and would love to hear more about storywork going on here.
Many thanks
Kevin
When you have a student story fest that includes k-5 performers, what type of venues are they performing at, is it main stage or a more intimate (less intimidating group) for the k, 1 and 2 students and do the younger students perform individually or in groups?
Glad to see you joined the site. I'm looking forward to our shows in Massachusets
All the best
Richard
