if we would just listen as often as we are moved to talk, now THAT would REALLY be something !
you appear to be a good storyLISTENER as well as storyTELLER.
Hope to listen to you tell one day soon.
Folkloristics is the study of the folk, being two or more people who have a commonality which they share through their ideas, actions, conversations and, of course, their stories. That is a short-version definition, and I can't do a real definition justice because the discipline is very hard to define. I myself am still trying to find what it is to be a folklorist. There are many aspects to folkloric study from the material to the oral to the ideal, depending on what aspect of the folk one wishes to explore.
Hope you're not confused. I will try to offer a better explanation given more time.
David
It's a pleasure to meet you too and to listen to you!
Have a wonderful day

I dropped the daily pages, but I'm working so hard on this humorous Ukrainian cookbook, I get all the writing I need. My first paragraph is always garbage, then the writing starts to flow. It's time to quit for the day when my recipes get cranky instead of funny. The great thing about Julia Cameron is she teaches you garbage and cranky are okay. The vein of gold is waiting underneath.
Talk to ya later, gecko woman :-D

I know there is so much Talent! I am so inspired every time I come to this sight and see the amazing things that people are coming up with. Storytelling takes all shapes and forms. Voices!
I love using the puppets but I also like doing straight telling as well.

I really adore your Video! Short and Sweet and really shows how much fun you would be to see live.
