Profile Information

About Me:
...do I still walk ancient forests, gliding thru grey mysts of veiling from one ancient world to another? There are things still left to imagine, olde forests to quietly enter, thundering oceans laid out at our feet.......
I have been a traveling storyteller for 13 yeares, telling folktales, mythe and legend. I also do dragon lore about the 5 great ones and am an artist, ready to bring the eyes of the eastern dragon glowing in front of you. I tell tales for all ages and even do workshops on female empowerment.
I go to schools, libraries, community centers, groups...even telling olde Knight Templar stories for Masons and Eastern Star.
I have spoke to the Storytelling League of Spokane Washington and stood on the delightfull stages of Barnes and nobles as well as stood beneath a ccrisp dark skye with stars twinkling and walked a bonfire to speak of the ancient mysteries of the dense forest to the beating of drums.
I love what I do and the people I meet.

Hello. I welcome you to P.S. I left a reply for your discussion "high tide and low tide" before I read your homepage, so I did not know what your storywork has been. You and I certainly have had different experiences, and walked in different worlds, but I think our unconscious minds spoke to each other in between and within the lines of what we posted. I love when that happens!!! Mimi

Hello, Helewise/Karen, and Welcome!

I'm sorta with Buck on the dragons (I'm pretty sure your 5 Great Ones do not include "Puff, the Magic Dragon," right? - sorry about that, but I'm an ol' Folkie from . . . a while ago....)

Anyway, what you do really does sound interesting...and mystical, appropriately enough. I, too, want to encourage you to share your material with us by taking advantage of the multiple pages on this site which will allow you to share with us via Video, DVDs, CDs, audiofiles, Blogs, etc.

You, yourself, must have a world of personal tales to tell simply based on your experiences as a traveling storyteller for 13 years - do you share such tales in your programs?

This awesome site is the brainchild of the one-and-only Dianne de Las Casas, to whom we all owe a real debt of gratitude; this place has been such a boon to so many, it is truly remarkable.

I'm glad you found your way to this site, wish you ongoing growth and continued success in your telling, look forward to your contributions to the site and, again, send my greetings and Welcome!

Sincerely,

Tom Taylor - Deep in the Heart of Texas

Wow, Helewise;

I really want to see that dragon. I only know a couple of simple dragon tales... would love to know more. Check out the great groups we have here at PS. Something for everyone, I think, if not.. start on for yourself... let me know and I will come join it. You can upload video, audio on your own page and upload pictures and so forth... let us hear you tell and get to know you a bit. There are also great forums.
welcome
Buck
