About Me:
Holly B. Robison takes her job as a storyteller "seriously". When she’s telling, no one in her audience will remember where they are. Her favorite storytelling audience is her three children. She got involved in storytelling while completing her baccalaureate degree in Theater at BYU and is now the president of the Olympus Chapter of the Utah Storytelling Guild. She has told at festivals and other venues around the state. She enjoys folktales that explore the cultures of the world.

For just an idea of what you can expect, you will laugh and be surprised when Holly tells The Purple Hippo. Your heart will swell at The Brother’s Promise. You’ll find yourself involved when she tells Just a Little Bit.

Here’s what some people are saying about Holly:
"The children get so excited when they know it’s story time with Holly. Once she takes the stage you can definitely feel the scattered attention of the children begin to focus preparing themselves for a good time. Holly remembers names and uses the children by name in her stories. And not just names, if the children have any interests that has been verbalized she weaves those interests into an exciting adventure always to the children’s delight."

"If you want a feel good day just listen to one of Holly’s stories."

Hello Holly,
Welcome to the Carolinas! I'm so glad you can come for a visit. I will be glad to email you some of the storytelling events going on in the Carolinas. Maybe we'll run into to one another somewhere this summer! I also enjoyed reading about you and your work.

Thanks Holly,
I am just really grateful that I grew up and I am no longer that type of person.

Hello Holly,
I wanted to say, I loved you peanutbutter story at the Clearfield Storytelling Festival! I can appreciate a moment of babysitting lots of kids and having it go south fast, is so typical. I loved the idea of using the items the kids picked up for the story. Very creative of you.

Hello Holly

I am glad you are here. There are lots of ups and downs in the storytelling business. Last Thursday, I lost my really great Agent to someone who could pay more in a different field. Oh well... while I was thinking about what I might do... to continue my efforts to meet my goals... I decided to let everyone see what I was doing and why. I started the "in the fishbowl" group and I hope you might be curious enough to join me. I know that I sent a broadcast invitation but I thought I would extend a personal one to you. Join in, if you please, chime in when you want... it might be interesting to see what happens.

Dear Holly:

Welcome, dear tandem teller friend!

I already told you that I posted some pictures of us on this site. I know we are mainly solo performers, though I have always enjoyed it when we tell together--especially the harmony singing.

Thank you for responding to my invite (and reminding me that I still needed to email you the link).

Until we tell again,

Rachel Hedman
