I tell stories in the context of management seminars. These are used to make points and teach techniques that are more effective than would be true if I simply explained the methods. I am branching out into storytelling for entertainment.

You remind me of a friend who has gone on to the hereafter. He, too, used to be a speaker for management seminars. Let's face it, business nowadays has "discovered storytelling", but when he discovered the entertainment aspects of public speaking he decided that's "what he wanted to do when he grew up." His final years when he left business for entertainment were a delight to him and his audiences.
