As an International Christian Speaker & Entertainer, I blend my theatrical and storytelling training to provide humor, inspiration and entertainment. Programs feature Mitsy Lou Puppernickel, a tacky southern hairdresser who thinks she sets fashion trends. She delivers humorous and inspirational messages from the south. Also, I combine story, humor and song to craft a message to fit groups about staying the course - "Sink or Swim-Survival Tips for the Christian Faith" - keeping a steadfast faith in a changing world.
Great use of Black and White for your photo. Few people use B & W nowadays. Your photo is great. The smile has to hold audience attention if it looks as great in person as it does on your PR photo. I actually am writing to let you know you missed a great Christian storytelling conference in Normal, IL last weekend. (probably our fault for getting the word out late.) We are contemplating holding another next year and wanted to see if you want to be in the email list in case we do. Best regards, Mike Lockett
Thanks for inviting me as a Friend, Janet! I am keeping pretty quiet for now - too much paperwork and a slow computer - but i hope to be more active very soon. My tales are not biblical or even necessarily inspirational. They are just stories that I love and want to share.
Sounds like answered prayers to me, Kiddo -
Just think, "Mitsy Lou" is now well on her way to legendary status, thanks to your sharing - and, btw, standing ovations are NICE aren't they? (I hear tell!)
I appreciate your generous spirit of appreciation, and I know He does, too. Please keep me posted on your ventures -
I shared with a remarkable group of senior adults at a local church this morning, and we ALL had a grand time! I never even got to play my guitar because, with the stories, the bones and the spoons, the poetry and the testimony, our plate was full - folks visited w/ me for an hour after the program (which began at 11:00). It was a huge boost for me, as you can imagine. // Tonight I share I HAD A TEACHER, about a storytelling teacher of my youth - and TEACHERS ARE __________ (Fill in the blank) - as part of a tribute to the teachers at an area Christian school. Would that every day were like this one....
Janet, thank you for the warm welcome! I was reading your profile... you seem to have created a brilliant style & approach in your storytelling work...an abundant offering to the "un-told."
Hi, Janet!
Welcome to Biblical Storytelling group! I know you will find some kindred souls here and not a few new friends! Don't be reluctant to ask questions or to post comments as you go along. It's how we learn from each other. BTW, I liked your webpage. Looks like you have a good thing going!

Thanks! Glad you liked my pictures. I need to gather up a few more. I think some are on slides which I'll have to hunt down and scan though. Never get it all done do we?
We're off tomorrow for the storytelling festival in Laurinburg.
Greetings and welcome to this great site. I think you will enjoy it. I see that you've already joined the Biblical Storytelling group. That's great. Won't you consider joining another group as well: Applied Stroytelling: The Power of Story? We would love to have you! Best wishes. STEVE

Take care, and "Lemme know!"
Best,
Tom

When you accepted me as your friend, it automatically placed me on your site as a friend. See how simple it is!
Great to have you as my real friend and my Professional Storyteller friend.
