tap dancing? You ARE better!
The student tellers at Albany were splendid.
Wish we could use 'em like sour dough starter - take one or two, here or there and send them around the Northeast!
It was a pleasure seeing you again at STF this past weekend. Thanks for your continuing contributions to help others in this wonderful world of storytelling.
Your project with Jackie Baldwin, "Storytelling in Schools" is absolutely amazing! What a fantastic resource for storytellers who work in education! Great job. I posted it in the Storytelling in Education group. I printed out the guide and it is phenomenal. Thank you so much for sharing such a valuable resource!
I now officially dub you an expert. You have taken the course and can share your finding with these wonderful people. You had some exciting projects to approach colleges with the last time we talked!
Greetings! I look forward to learning lots from you! Won't you consider joing the group Applied Storytelling: The Power of Story? Best wishes to you. STEVE
I'd love to join your buddy list and have you on mine as well. i love the work you and Jackie have done with the storytelling in education site. It is very important work and will be helpful to many of us, I'm sure. Thank you! See you at STF. Muriel
As an award-winning storyteller and author, I enjoy telling many kinds of stories to all ages. A particular interest of mine is bringing history to life -- giving a voice to people from the past. I've told stories at many venues in the Northeastern USA, including The New-York Historical Society (New York City, NY), The Clearwater Festival (Croton-on-Hudson, NY), First Night Saratoga (Saratoga Springs, NY), and The Norman Rockwell Museum (Stockbridge, MA).
As a member of the Advocacy Committee of the National Storytelling Network, I have created two web sites:
Storytelling -- It's News! www.storynews.org contains summaries of over 300 articles published since June 2003 which describe various uses of storytelling, from classrooms to boardrooms to operating rooms
Storytelling in Schools www/storytellinginschools.org is a reference guide to a wide variety of educational programs (K-college) that demonstrate the value of using storytelling and storytelling techniques across the curriculum in traditional classrooms (created with Jackie Baldwin)

I've heard your name so often I feel as though I know you as do all Board members of KSA in Kentucky. I do hope you add me on your friends list.

Just thought I'd say hi ... I know your neck of the woods, I grew up not far from Clifton Park. My hometown is Richmondville next door to Cobleskill.
