As a Storyteller I do science stories, some history stories and personal stories. I work in the schools and match the Calif. State Standards for Science as best I can with the stories and the science. Understanding the science makes the stories come alive. My stories are engaging and fun. Some have a hands-on element with them.
Greetings and welcome to this great site. I hope you find it useful. Would you consider joining the Applied Storytelling: the Power of Story group? We would love to have wisdom and insights added to the discussions and would welcome you starting some of your own! Best wishes to you. STEVE
Ken, thanks for being my friend. This sure is more fun than myspace, which I've tried for years to fit into, too much music and youth. Hope to see you at Tale Spinners next Thursday! Your web page gets better and better.
Welcome to Professional Storyteller. Glad you joined! I love that you combine science and storytelling. I also do a lot of cross-curriculum connections with storytelling. My latest book (out this Fall with Libraries Unlimited) is Tangram Tales, which has a strong math element. My father and grandparents were from the Santa Rosa area. I'll be in SF in August and hope to make it further north as well. Best wishes!

Kenneth,
Thank you. I am looking foward to the conference. School is starting earlier here, as well. Still not sure if I'm happy or not about that.

Welcome to the neatest website for storytellers on the planet... okay that might be an exaggeration ... but not much of one. Jump in and check out the Groups, lots of really good stuff, excellent forums too... there is some fun in the video section.. upload yours and you can also upload audio to your page here. Don't be a stranger and let me know if I can help... Dianne de Las Casas is the nice lady who created this site.. then she gave it to us and it is so much fun to get to know the other tellers... check out their pages and photos...
