I visited Espana when I was a kid with my family. I always wanted to go to Andalusia. I am told that my great-grandfather was Basque. I went to Seville, drank Sangria in moderation at a restaurant which had Flamenco dances and Gitano musica. I remember having a wonderful time. I'd like to visit madrid someday if finances allow.

Antequera is our nearest "big" town and is very beautiful.

I just found Antequera on the map near Malaga.

I am signing off. It will say each of us time thru eliminating steps if you would simply email me at alan@cre8ng.com.

Best wishes for a great day today.

I found Cordova and Malaga but not your village on a map. I found websites about our village but no map that detailed. I did find some promotional material about your village, such as:

Cuevas de San Marcos is a municipality north of Antequera in Málaga with a village by the same name that sits on a hillside not far from the Iznajar River dam. It is just south of the Genil River.

When I was in Spain in 1977 while traveling all over Europe that summer I was in Madrid, La Granga (spelling), Avilla, Toledo and then Barcelona. This trip only for the day in Huelva in the far western part of Andalucia.

I was just looking at some maps trying to find where you live. I am guessing that Andalucia is a region of southern Spain that includes the cities of Huelva and Seville, much like Algarve is a region in southern Portugal with Faro, Alvo and Portimao. Both on the Mediterranean Sea.

What town or city do you live in?

Yes the weather was very nice the week I spent in Algarve.

I was in Portugal and Spain last week. Sorry we missed each other.

I was in the Algarve Region most of the week and drove over to Huelva one day. I spoke for a group of Hotel managers one evening and was one of speakers at a Business Futures and Innovation Conference held at Algarve University in Faro.

Miss Cordoba already. Why aren't there orange trees in New Jersey? Keep up the good work and have fun. Look forward to hearing of your adventures.
