Glad to see we made your day back in May!  We're doing it again in 2011 with Norse, Yoruba, Greek and Japanese tales of goddess throw-downs in "Big Girls Do Fight!"

Hello; we'll be performing a couple of times in October, here in Phoenix. When are you coming this way?

The show went well. If you look on Facebook for "Myth Mob" you can see photos and stuff. Hope to see you soon! Will you go to NSN in LA?

No problem! I know you've been busy. I look forward to hearing you play! I'll be doing storytelling and music with the Myth Mob, doing tales of courtship and consorting from the Irish, Norse, Yoruba and Mande--Three Goddesses and a Guy (I'm the Guy), as part of the Phoenix Fringe Festival, next week.

Hello there, Kuniko! So nice working with you in Seattle! Went to see Jake Shimabukuro on Friday; he played Sakura Sakura...and it reminded me of you. How have you been?

Yes, i get the informations from Karen, BUT: usually i got them too late and had taken some gigs for that time. Actually i liked very much when Karen and Lee were teaching together! I need to arrange it i have to take off for 2 shows in ethnology-museum, coyotestories in the north american departement. Tomorrow will be premiere of the new puppet-theater-show i was directing. I am satisfied with it and now it´s up to the puppeteer to keep it alive. And i will have more time for movement in the next months, since there are no rehearsals with him. Though i guess he is already planing the next´s still nice and warm here and i can pick figues from the tree in my garden. You are welcome anytime!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Kuniko, that sounds like a wonderful plan: meeting at the Barn........i try to find out when Karen is teaching and try keeping those weeks free of appointement. It´s a little difficult, since our summerholidays here start end of july and june + july there are many festivals and happenings. But I´ll try since it´s really getting time to come back and meet you friends who have inspired and are inspiring me!!!! I really would like to see your new stories! Lots of love to you from Uschi

So you are in the Barn from time to time? In Karen´s workshops? I have now more performances, so it´s getting hard to leave. I need to organize things and keep weeks free.....i really wanted to come back for the Push-workshop with Karen & Lee. I loved them teaching together.
From time to time I think of visiting you, having time to build new masks and learn more Origami from you. I hope, one day it will happen!
I was working a lot on new stories, have now a show with native american indian stories (Coyote stories) - this one i also perform in english and bi-lingual , one is a trip through africa, the east-asian story-ghost and the newest is a collection from Siberia and Mongolia. I made it for a spectacular exhibition about "shamanism in Siberia " in the anthropology museum where I perform regularly. Last summer I did some research in Mongolia for that show. Learnt throat-singing. Since I went on with the Roy Hart Voicetraining i do use more singing and voice in my stories.
And last not least I am working on a show with a wonderful chinese musician, with stories from the eastern tealands or the silkroad ( not sure about the title, yet ).
Since 3 years I cooperate with a puppet-theater, they help me with promotion, i help them directing. September will be premiere of Leo Lionni´s "Fish is fish"
Ha, and in 2 weeks I will take a workshop of a very good mask-compagnie ( i am looking forward to be back to the many years did I catch up now???? talk to you soon. Uschi
