About Me:: I am passionate about storytelling. I tell traditional stories from around the world. My favorite themes are facing difficulties, making mistakes, and encountering The Other in life. I tell at schools, libraries, mental health centers, and various festivals. I am a Californian by birth and by heart, but I have lived on the high plains of Western Kansas for 30 years. I spent a glorious year and a half in Tennessee gettting my master's in storytelling from ETSU. Did you know they have trees there?

The postcard idea is where I'm headed right now. It makes more sense to me than a full brochure. Besides, I can send it out via email, too. This site may help me a lot - I love storytelling and writing, but I'm not a techno. . .

It is good to hear from you. I'm in the midst of finals week. All is well, though. I'm working on my last course for UT before starting the dissertation. Yeah! Of course I still have to complete comprehensive exams before I start, but I expect that to occur. I'm glad to be considered a friend of yours.
