Hey Marisa, I saw you were from VA and thought I should say hello. And you're also from Christiansburg--Kim Weitkamp's stomping ground, a very nice person you may wish to know if you don't already. I will be heading out your way for Sounds of the Mountains in two weeks. Do try to come if you can. Big names like Donald Davis and Kim Weitkamp will be there. It should be outstanding. Please feel free to say "Hi" if you see me, I'll be one of the regional tellers from VASA (Virginia Storytelling Alliance-- a cool group you may wish to look into, Kim's president) and will be telling on Sat. Whether I see you or not, welcome to Professional Storyteller. If you ever tell on the Eastern part of the state, let me know, and I'll come see you. My best, Anthony Burcher

Greetings and welcome to Professional Storyteller. I hope you enjoy the site. Won't you consider joining the group Applied Storytelling: the Power of Story? We would love to have you. I believe in the power of story to transform lives - for the better! In fact, I am doing my graduate studies on this topic. This group is for those who share similar views and provides a venue for expressing them! So, you are welcome to "Applied Storytelling: the Power of Story." To join the group simply click on "Groups" at the top of your home page, then click on the "Applied Storytelling" icon (a nice cup of cappuccino!), then click on "Join this Group." I look forward to having you with us! Best wishes to you. STEVE
