Professional Storyteller is a network for people who work in the field of oral storytelling. Please write a brief paragraph about your work.
I write and tell my own stories, specialising in Celtic tales of foibles and frailities as well as how people cope and survive against the odds. Coming from both Scotland and Ireland accounts for my soft accent as heard on my CD Celtic Otherworld whichgained a 2011 World Storytelling Award.

Welcome, Mary!

As you look around this site, you'll see even a group specifically on Celtic storytelling.  I hope you enjoy networking here & searching the aspects available here: groups, the general discussions in the forum, member blogs, videos, & the help of the search box in the upper right of each page.  That search box shows many Vancouver members, including fellow assistant administrator here, Reisa Stone.  We're a large international group here of over 1800 members, so I hope you enjoy your participation here.
