I could have titled this post "Unexpected Changes." Quite unintentionally, I made the decision to resign from Beaver Creek Storytellers as their Director on May 21. Here's how it came about:

Hello All - I've been gone for awhile due to several events and issues. The last I posted was in November, then devoted my time to publicity for our Old Christmas program and preparing for a vacation my husband, Rocky, and I were taking over Christmas. We returned the very end of Dec. and on New Year's Day Rocky came down with bronchitis. He is a cancer survivor of 4 years and has the chronic condition of COPD. Hi! I want to brag a bit and let you all know that I am going to be in Audubon, Iowa (between Omaha and Des Moines) this weekend to celebrate with my uncle, and others, his 100th birthday. I am so happy to report that he is alert and upright, although occasionally he uses a wheelchair. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and he is as surprised as anyone that he has lived a century. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about it.
