Thanks for getting back to me Murti!

I passed on your site to a friend who works in Children's Literature. Yes, as you say, I am very active. Storytelling is a great and passionate journey for me. The role of story and the way in which it affects children and adults continues to astound me.

I work with performance as well as teaching, lecturing, workshops, and applied storytelling in the community. I am blessed to have this life!

Please tell me more about your company and festival if you get time.

Dear Murti

Good to find you on here, your website is wonderful. I have forwarded it on to a friend who has just completed her Masters in Children's literature in London. It would seem that you have nurtured a thriving community interest in storytelling there in Indonesia?

I would be interested in seeing anything you have published in English on storytelling and children. I am collating an archive of all the "storytelling proof" that h as been written over the years to assist storytellers in getting funding by having the proof to back up what we all know intuitively. Any help or advice on this is appreciated.

Yes, this site is a great forum for connecting. And I would love for you to join the group! Simply click on "Groups" at the top of your home page, then click on the "Applied Storytelling" icon (a nice cup of cappuccino!), then click on "Join this Group." I look forward to having you with us! Best wishes. STEVE

Dear Murti:

Welcome to Professional Storyteller! I am so glad you found your way here. This is a wonderful online community of storytellers and people who are passionate about folktales! I am the author of several books on storytelling as well as a professional storyteller myself. I am a half-Filipina and tour in the Philippines often. I have ties to PBBY. I look forward to getting to know you. Perhaps one day, I can tour in Indonesia (I have toured in Singapore as well). Email me! I see that you are friends with Margie! She is also a friend and wrote the forward for my book, The Story Biz Handbook. All my best,
