I had the pleasure of seeing your performance at the Tejas Storytelling Festival in spring '07. Fantastic telling! Opened my eyes (and ears!) to the various facets we all use to tell our stories. Hopefully, I'll get to enjoy another performance someday.
My daughter & I saw you ages ago when you came to Bloomfield, Michigan. It was great to see ASL storytelling as you did it. An eye-opener (signing "wake up!") about what was possible. I must see your website after reading the comments here.
I saw you at the National Storytelling Festival some years ago. My youngest son followed you from tent to tent--you were, he said, the coolest storyteller there. He got bored easily with most tellers, but you and Syd Lieberman were big hits with him. I'm glad to see you here.
Welcome to the Professional Storyteller family. Do you know Trix Bruce? I worked with her at the St. Louis Storytelling Festival a couple of years ago. Your work sounds so inspirational. I look forward to getting to know you. Best wishes and enjoy the site!

Met you last year in Denton - you remember The Rain, I am sure. I wrote a poem and shared it w/ you the next morning. Bought one of your DVDs, which you signed for me - my entire family has enjoyed you/DVD multiple times over the last 11 months.
I was SO impressed with you, your performances, your contact w/ "th' folks," - it was, truly, awesome (I know the word is terribly overused/abused, but, here, it is absolutely THE appropriate word to use)
Anyway, delighted you'll be with us, and looking forward to your sharing with everyone!
Hello Peter! I am so glad that you are here. We met at Cave Run the first time, the Kentucky Storytelling Conference the second time. I am happy that you have joined us... there are lots of things that you can contribute to look at the Marketing Group... there are several strong discussions taking place there, discussions and blogging going on all over this site and a wide variety of topics. I am anxious to see what interests you bring as join in with us. I would like to know more about the way you conduct your business... who are your favorite deaf tellers... have you met Rives? Slam Poet? Signs? You can find his work at his website... shopliftwindchimes.com text and video... one of my favorites is his appearance on Def Jam... HBO.
You may notice that I started a group within "Professional Storyteller" entitled "College Big Cats: Tracking and Capturing Gigs". Then things can be discussed that there was no time to cover during the 2007 National Storytelling Conference.
