In this old French folktale, Drakestail (a duck) goes to the castle to retrieve the money he lent to the king. Along the way, he meets several friends who help him out. As the duck says, "Quack. You can never have too many friends."

About Me:
I've been telling stories since 1988, full time since 1993. It's big fun! I tell folktales, stories from books and my own stories. It's not easy to pigeonhole me--I'm as comfortable on the floor with puppets and preschoolers as I am telling Medieval epics to the kids at the Juvenile Detention Center. I offer lots of programs on
my website

I'm also one of the founders of Going Deep: The Long Traditional Story Festival. It's not too late to register for April 2008! Check out the website, www.goingdeepstories.com .

Did I mention I have three CDs and a DVD? Check them out at the Storyteller.net store

And did I mention that I have a blog on various storytellingish topics, Storytelling Notes?

Hi Priscilla: We still remember and miss you here in Connecticut. Hope to see you some time soon. I unfortunately learned about the Marketing Boot Camp too late, but I would definitely be interested if you do it again.

Thanks, Shari Lynn

I would love to get to know you. I've heard so much about you from Mary Hamilton and Cynthia Changaris. Maybe someday our paths will cross.

Hi Priscilla! I am an avid fan after attending Sean Buvala's Marketing Boot Camp. Sean gave the participants a copy of the audio of your words of wisdom from the last camp you did with him. I absolutely love your energy and common sense approach to storytelling. Thanks!
Best wishes, Glenda

Hi... I just asked to become your "friend" -- Cynthia Changaris and I have a sporadic on-going friendship for lo these many decades and she just commented on my doing "Gilgamesh" recently and the "Going Deep..." teller presenting it as well. From my first self-motivated show at age 12 ("Mercury!"), I've been focused especially on the great epics and wisdom myths. Just thought we should meet, you and I.
Peace, Sara (PS, among the pix on my ps.ning site, there's a b/w photo of my "Mercury" persona)

Hi, Priscilla!
It will be great to see you in Salina! I love that festival, the people, and that town. I haven't met Anne; when Tammy came here she was accompanied by Brianna and Dustin, 2 friends who were involved in her puppetry project then. They actually had a huge group (I think about 9 people), but it sounds as if everyone else has fallen by the wayside. I think that's just as well. As they say, too many cooks in the soup make slop. Plus, if she has any intentions of making puppetry a source of income. 2 people are enough!

Oh, Priscilla, I'm so glad you're doing this. I'll serve as your cheerleader & even chaperone if it would help.

Hey, Priscilla, I've been meaning to let you know you helped me out in, of all places, the Dominican Republic! I was in an international school & with the older kids I asked what countries each were from & I was fine, but could have been stumped for a Bulgarian girl except for you helping me branch out into versions of Nasreddin Hodja & also mention Clever Peter.
Blessings to you & all your puppets!
