Life Explained In Just One Email... Listen Up!

On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past.  For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years."  The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking.  How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?"So God agreed......  On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh.  For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span." The monkey said,…See More

Professional Storyteller is a network for people who work in the field of oral storytelling. Please write a brief paragraph about your work.
As I am retired teacher and librarian, also I am writer, like to wrote traditional stories, I began my project(House of Tales and Music) on the Day of World storytelling day 2010

My Project ( House of Tales)

House of Tales & Music

Creativity is a talent we are all born with

Our mission:
To offer an opportunity for children to enjoy, discover, try and express through art, music, drama, and storytelling

Our goal:
To reach out to as many children as possible in order to influence a new generation of strong, emotionally stable, innovative, open minded and analytical children.

House of Tales & Music, Future vision for a liberated space (a space of freedom) filled with enjoyment, discovering, meditation and experimentation and a method of discovering new meanings of life.
Its a place for children that can express themselves through arts of painting, drama, and hand craft skills.
Space to gain friendships and build a fruitful relationship with the word and the book, observe the experiences and cultures of humanity from all around the world, suitable environment to discover the impact of music in the organization of mental processes and human behavior, an opportunity to experiment the influence of sounds in our lives.
It is also an open invitation to join the House of Tales team for adults who believe in developing and discovering new tools for education and children upbringing.
Through her long experience in the educational field, school libraries, and children libraries; Rabeea Alnasser believes that stories and art are the most important learning keys; her faith that expressing through arts and discovering the world of stories and tales, is the approach to be adopted in the children education, upbringing, and the most effective method in creating a loving personality in the child.
This reconciles with itself and with the environment; an insightful and thinking personality which contributes to the formation of literature and arts that seeks a new meaning of life and achieve a mental, emotional and social growth for the child to reach the desired value system.

Russol Al-Nasser, after more than 12 years of experience in teaching music and managing “”Rum - Tareq Al Nasser Musical Group”, discovers the essential meaning of children’s participation in the group musical workshops; which is reaching a state of positive harmony among the group and creating curiosity among children to discover quality international, Arabic and local musical experiment. She believes in the role of musical activities in enhancing thinking skill and expecting that the musical activities will contribute in developing the listening skills and feeling expressions, she believes in the importance of developing musical listening taste as the say: (Music is the beauty which we hear), creating awareness and paying attention towards environment sound pollution around our children
Without imagination we would not have any great scientists, thinkers, or artists.
