I just wanted to thank you for your time at the Weber State Storytelling Festival. I hope to see you and Groark in April, but if all you did was tell Anderson, I would love to see you every time. (Silly Hans on the Goat was amazing, how long did it take you to know how to cut paper like that?)
I'm looking forward to talking and telling with you soon.
Daniel Bishop, the Storyteller
I just noticed you left this comment (haven't had much time lately...). Thanks! Did you make it to any puppet festivals this summer? I had to pass; more work this summer than ever before, and I have to take it when it's available.
I have returned from the Lemoore area for the Arne Nixon Storytelling Festival (and other performances/workshops) and back in Layton. How much longer will you be out here? Do you have a performance I may be able to zip to?
Randel, Nice meeting you in St. George last week. I hope the folks up in Ogden enjoyed your talent. I was really impressed at your skill and actually, just like the kids, thought Gork was real, oh yeah, he is. Tom
I just rolled thru Solvang yesterday. I did not see you anywhere...okay, there was the big bust, jeez, they must really like you! What gigs are you up to now-adays? Did you do Dickens again?
It won't be long when I'll be in the Central Valley area and connecting with Fresno State and with Fresno Pacific University. Maybe I'll see you. . .though strangely you'll be Utah! We'll meet up eventually.
By the way, you may have noticed the e-Course on the "College Big Cats" site on basic marketing for college venues.
Hey, Randel, remember the gypsy restaurant & the belly dancer in Pittsburgh?!? Guess who's been inspired by it...yes, me! Gypsy persona & all. When I stopped all the activity as a librarian, I found exercise was needed & it's always been in a dance class for me. I'll never earn my living that way, but I love it anyway. Now if only I can ever see Groark next to me, life will truly be HOT!
Fond thoughts of finally meeting you at the conference then & hope to see you in Gatlinburg.
