Greetings! I hope you find Professional Storyteller useful and informative. I sure do! Won't you consider participating in the "Applied Storytelling: the Power of Story" group? We would love to have you! Best wishes. STEVE
What a great site PS has become and what a great community of tellers. Forgive me for being so late in greeting you. Recently my heart decided to throw a little surprise party at the emergency room... not a heart attack just Pericarditis (non-lethal... only painful condition). I am recovering nicely, was able to go ahead and get married and move. So you might forgive my late greeting. Hope you join some of the groups... mine will pick back up as I get more settled into our new routines. Anyway... welcome to PS and I hope you learn to love it and this wonderful collection of tellers as much as I do.
Your welcome! I have Rachel (below) for inviting ME! Anyway, I am actually moving to Quebec for 3 mos. I leave at the end of this month. I'm pretty sad b/c I won't get to go to the festival. I've had the poster for it on my door for a month now! I'm glad you and Dru are goin' though - Tell a story for me!
I noticed that you came into the storytelling world through high school competitions. Sophomore year was when I was part of the storytelling category of the National Forensics League.
A side note--my middle name is Renee'. Yes, the accent is on the last "e" though the proper French way would be the second to last "e". Any accents on yours?
I am a graduate from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Theatre and Performance Studies. I have been a member of the storytelling world since high school telling competitions and continued my journey in storytelling with the KSU Tellers. I'm very excited to see where my next telling adventure will lead me!
