By weird stories, here is an example. I am polishing up a 14th centruy German legend for a show in a couple of weeks. It involves a rich woman who dies of plague, is buried, dug up by a thief who wants her gold ring, and she is revived by the thief trying to cut off her finger. Not really dead, just in a coma. She goes home but everyone thinks she is a ghost. Husband says 'If such and such strange thing happens I will believe you." Strange thing happens so he believes her.

If a story has a corpse in it somewhere, I will probably like it!
