Hi Simon. Lovely to hear from you. I hope you are having a brilliant festive season yourself, and if you are snowed in, I hope there is a glut of sprouts and whiskey...the twin companions for a proper chrimble. I would love to catch up with you, and would especially like to see Myths of Mercia. As a Brummie, this is obviously well up my street. I have tried to unearth Birmingham stories before but had little luck - partly because I am still learning where and how to search and research. It's an ongoing process that, isn't it? But I look forward to hearing stories from my backyard told by you and Katrice. (Cat Weatherill has been trying to get Katrice and I in touch, as she reckons we'll get on like a house on fire. So I look forward to that).
But for now, have a lovely Christmas and a top New Year. I look forward to our wibbly paths crossing in 2010. Love and Pies, Debs xx
Hello Simon. I saw you at FaTE last year, you MC'd the storyrounds - well the one I told at anyway - and played at the tribute to Duncan Williamson. I thought you were flippin' great. Unfortunately I missed In The Middle Yard in London at the end of last month because I was away working but I will make a point of getting to see you do your thing this year. Will you be at FaTE this July? I'll be there doing some MC-ing myself, so any tips on keeping a storyround spinning firmly on its axis would be super-appreciated! All-the-best-and-all-that, Debs.
Greetings! I hope you find Professional Storyteller useful and informative. I sure do! Won't you consider participating in the "Applied Storytelling: the Power of Story" group? We would love to have you! Best wishes. STEVE
