LOVE your photo - makes me want to take you for coffee and just listen and listen to you !

Thanks. I often get introduced as My Kay Lo Che - I guess that means Mike Lockett. I have been offered the chance to teach in Taiwan - but find it too hard to be away from our grandkids that long. But it is still tempting. ML

It is great to talk to people 1/2 way around the world from where I sit at my computer. We are temporarily snowed in a bit. Six inches would normally not be a problem - but I have one arm strapped to my side due to rotator cuff surgery. So, I am a one armed shoveler for the moment... And that too will pass... What is Xi Feng in Mandarin? You talk about funny accents.. mine is the funny one in Taiwan - with only a few words of Chinese so far in my head well enough to use. I do have to brag that I can say "It's a pleasure to meet you," so well that people at least smile at the rest of my ignorance... I'd love to learn more about how you came to live in China if you ever get the time. Until then - Best regards from the USA, Mike Lockett
I saw your address as China and had to write. I have been fortunate enough to travel to Taiwan several times now - but have not been to China yet. I wish you well with your storytelling there. I hope to be fortunate enough to be able to visit the country myself at some time in the future. Best regards, Mike Lockett - In Taiwan - they call me Ye Ye Mike - I have no idea how to write it in Mandarin - but they call me Grandpa Mike

Thanks for watching my video. Did you hear the whole story? That was Christmas eve several years ago, really good response from the audience and two standing ovations. Lots of fun, over 1100 people in a little town just over 20k. I thought that was a good night. Glad you liked it.
