Hello. Thanks for Friend invite. One day I hope to come back to the land where I was inspired (and joyfully educated) to write and illustrate my first story - aged 5! If the Guild ever has funding for a visiting storyteller, I could offer a substantial programme of workshops (schools, adults) and performances (say 3 different titles) that could appeal to the general public and could also be delivered to community groups, senior citizens etc. Would it be appropriate or of any interest to develop a storytelling presentation with someone from the Aboriginal community, exploring and enjoying the cultural contrasts and similarities in stories about (eg) love, death and stepmothers?! (etc)? It might be possible to obtain a small grant toward travel from a UK organisation. Kind regards, Chloe.

I taught myself the didgeridoo. The story I do is one I made up. I also play lots of Irish music and tell several stories from that tradition which shares a background with Australia.
All the best with your club,
Richard
