Professional Storyteller is a network for people who work in the field of oral storytelling. Please write a brief paragraph about your work.
Have been storytelling for many years. Will do children and family entertainment. But my favorite is adult storytelling as a Therapeutic (Healing) Storyteller - working in addiction recovery center, domestic violence shelters, women in transitions programs, etc. Love this work so much. KI am Eastern Band Cherokee/Celtic in ethnicity. Also really love doing one-woman shows. I am also a Certified Master Life Coach and Healer and use storytelling as a major tool in this field.

Hello! My name is Anneliese Kamola, and I am a student at Western Washington University. I am building a concentration around healing and storytelling, and when I read your blurb I thought, "Ah-hah! A resource!" Do you mind if I ask a few questions?
1. How did you get started in storytelling as a therapeutic tool? Was it something you dreamed of and built, did you fall into it, or did it evolve over time?
2. Where do you work with people? Do you work one-on-one or in groups?
3. How do you see story interacting between generations within the United States?
I'll start there. Thanks for sharing your information, and I look forward to conversation with you!

It's me, MaryAnn, just Blue now instead of Brewer. I saw your smilin' face and had to drop a note. I'm in San Antone and remarried. Sounds like you're doing good work in Albuquerque. Miss you.

Hello, Susi, and Welcome!

I was about to welcome you several hours ago when the site decided it had to "clean" itself, or whatever such sites do to themselves from time to time - so, I've had to wait 'til now because the site just 'went away' for a while....

Anyway, I want to congratulate you on what you've done with your telling - I mean, it's SO much more than folks simply telling stories about turtles, fairies, talking flowers, etc. - that's all fine, and fun, but, man - when I see what you have done . . . it puts things in sharp relief in a very bright light; I admire what you've chosen to do; you are an example for many - and a good one.

This is an awesome site for all tellers, and I'm sure you'll love it as much as Buck and I both do, along with well over another 300+ tellers onsite. If I may be of assistance in any way, please 'holler,' as I'd be happy to help any way I could.

This is the brainchild of the remarkable Dianne de Las Casas, and we all owe her a huge debt of gratitude -

I'm delighted you're here, I look forward to hearing more both OF and FROM you on this site; please share with us your pix, videos, CDs, DVDs, blogs, etc. - it'll help all of us.

My sincere Best Wishes to you for your continued impact, your fulfillment and success in the remarkable path you have chosen and, again, my warm greetings and a special Welcome for another "good ol' Texas girl"!
