G'day Doug,
Many, many years ago I did a drama course on improv and found out all I really needed was confidence and belief in myself.
During the course it was pointed out that improv flow occurred when you were "inside it"....... not worrying abou...
G'day everyone ..so nice to be here and what a wonderful find. If I can help anyone heading for New Zealand do please contact me... I'm more than happy to help you wherever i can. Because we are quite isolated down here I've tended to wander back ...
This is the place for Ghost Storytellers to try out their new ghost stories, to cross reference ghost stories, to look for ghost stories, and to do all things ghost stories.
Happy Haunting.
Hi Back, Terry -
When are you planning to be in the US next year? There is a great little festival here in western Washington in mid-October each year. It is a great place to gather with other tellers.
welcome to the site, good to have you on here. Good luck with the plans for 2010, I am Ireland based so unfortunately cannot help you Stateside, but there are a lot of great tellers on here that can help.

Hi Terry! Welcome to this amazing network of storytellers. I know that you will find it as inspiring as I have. It is so lovely to have another storyteller 'from' New Zealand in this social site. Note the quotation marks around 'from'; this is because we all have lived in other countries, it seems!
Cheers,
Katrina
I am glad you added me as a friend. There is lots of good stuff here... I see that you have joined some really good groups... go to my website... www.buckpcreacy.com and sign up for my free newsletter... it is not about me... it is about storytelling.

About Me:
Born in London and raised in the East End, Terry grew up around songs and stories. His grandfather Henry, a storyteller and singer of traditional songs, who used horses to haul barges around the Thames, supplemented his income by street singing and poaching in the Essex countryside.Terry's father, Charlie, worked in a foundry from childhood and was a follower of the Music Hall singers and coster comedians . In1967 Terry emerged onto the Englilsh folk scene and told jokes and stories between songs to overcome stage fright. This format proved so popular "the act" was born.He now performs at folk festivals, story gatherings and clubs around the world and is a great favourite with audiences on both sides of the globe
