Later that evening we had the highlight of the festival for me so – Gharfuddin Mewati telling a section of a version of the Mahabharata from Pakistan. Hello fellow storytellers, the time has come - I've left my London job subtitling and committed myself fully to the road of story.In January I go to Asia on a tour of India, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Phillipines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka until November 2011.I plan to collect stories, tell stories, create stories and send stories home via YouTube. Travelling Storyteller now on YouTube

Hello fellow storytellers, the time has come - I've left my London job subtitling and committed myself fully to the road of story.


In January I go to Asia on a tour of India, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Phillipines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka until November 2011.


I plan to collect stories, tell stories, create stories and send stories home via YouTube. I would really love to meet up with other storytellers in these countries…

Ad Infinitum's Odyssey - Another sort of review/ musings

I've got one word for Ad Infinitum's Odyssey - Wowsers!

I was literally blown away by the sheer energy, precision and spledour of their particularly physical style of performance storytelling. A far cry from the round-the-fireside storytelling we all love, this show brings an insight into why the storyteller may have once been confused with a magician.

Would be cool.....just logistics of where we are both based but not impossible in this golbal communication world we live in.....what do you think?
