Indian Storyteller at Jaipur Literary Festival

The following is a section of my review of the Jaipur Literature Festival from my blog.

Later that evening we had the highlight of the festival for me so – Gharfuddin Mewati telling a section of a version of the Mahabharata from Pakistan. There were five people in total, Mewati doing the telling, his grandson was on stage – obviously training up to take over one day - there was a man to…

Audio Storytelling for Storytellers

Storytelling just with the voice

A few years ago this would have been much more easily defined as storytelling on the airwaves or on the radio, however times change and now there is a whole new world open to storytellers, the world of the audio download. For the last year I have been dipping my toe in the great sea of Audio Books. I have had a number of collections uploaded and they've done relatively well. Travelling Storyteller now on YouTube

I plan to collect stories, tell stories, create stories and send stories home via YouTube. I would really love to meet up with other storytellers in these countries…

photo? nice to see you.....maybe we should hook up at some stage and look at putting something together as a pair? Would be cool.....just logistics of where we are both based but not impossible in this golbal communication world we live in.....what do you think? Maybe get something together to offer festivals next summer?
