Biblical Storytelling

"SHARE A STORY, CHANGE THE WORLD" is, when it comes to biblical storytelling, much more than just a catchy motto, catch-phrase or slogan - it's a real possibility.

Professional Storyteller is a network for people who work in the field of oral storytelling. Please write a brief paragraph about your work.
Zephyr flies as far as her wings will take her to bring fairy tales to life; sharing stories, music, and a wee faery bauble to enchant young and less young. Tales of the fay, dragons, giants, heroic knights and fair maidens, new stories and old, using voice and fairy pipe, to transport hearers, helping them to believe anew.

Hi once again, Zephyr!

You asked about any other suggestions.  I have a great one, but not only for you.  We have some great groups here and officially more than 2000 members from all over the world.  They are most able to be a true network IF discussions occur in the groups, forum and in comments to the blogs.  Your fairy wings flitted everywhere!  WOW!  Look over discussion threads wherever your interest takes you and use the search box, too, as it's a great help finding topics and resources by place, but remember storytelling involves talking, so we need to do that.  Also if we need additional group topics, that's always an option, too, just needs someone ready to start a group and take an interest in the topic.

Thanks for your wings fluttering in a breath of fairy freshness.  I've noticed some people stepped away when the group nearly shut down after our founder, Dianne, decided to stop operating the network.  It nearly stopped, BUT we all need to spread the word that Don "Buck P" Creacy stepped in and kept us running.  He has more than 1 group here including Marketing, In the Fish Bowl, and his great internet radio project, World of Storytelling!

This network has SOOOOOOOO much potential, but only if we use it!  Remember visible activity here is another point of promotion.  (But, Zephyr, I suspect you realized that already.  Now to reawaken any sleeping princes and princesses here!)

A Zephyr is always welcome (and a Babbling Brooke, too)!

Your frequent Celtic, Renaissance, and other gigs will probably have you enjoying Celtic Storytellers, By the Fire, and possibly the Movement, Masks, Props, and Much More groups +, well...much more.
