What to say? My life is a story (as are all). Currently, I am a graduate student (leadership and divinity), a singer/musician (voice, guitar, piano), a blacksmith (non practicing at the moment), a historical actor (reinactments, tours), an environment imagineer, a special needs cat fosterer, wife, quilter, rose gardener and a host of other interesting little things. I like to try everything at least once.
Kim,
Welcome to Professional Storyteller. I see two of the nicest guys already said hello. This is a fun place. There is also a group for younger storytellers you might want to glance at.
I'm going to be in Florida in Mid May doing 2 shows at the Orlando Fringe. One is on the free kids stage the other is a regular show - a telling filled with stories about birth-historical, funny, some just plain amazing. I hope you can make it.
Maybe you can give me some tips on roses-I love digging in the dirt, but I'm a little intimadated by roses.
As Buck indicated, this is an awesome site, with lots of awesome folks aboard. Snoop around a bit, check things out, visit a bunch of Teller Pages to find out more about some of the outstanding people 'residing' here, the Main Page (provides a quick update of activities from wherever), Photos, Video, audiofiles, Forums and Groups - this place can keep you really busy!
Really enjoyed my quick visit to your blogspot page, and agree with your take on 'dumber' - but lay it at the feet of today's believers, not "Christianity," itself.
Anyway, it sounds as if you are one VERY busy, and involved, young person, and I am delighted to have you with us - I look forward to your contributions to this site, which have already begun, I see! (Biblical Storytelling discussion - so glad to have you with us); I wish you the best in ALL your activities, responsibilities and passions and, again, send you warm greetings and Welcome!
Let me be the first of many to welcome you to Professional Storyteller. This is a great site... there are lots of very interesting discussions in the Forum and some really interesting Groups... you are welcome to join me in the Fishbowl or perhaps jump into the Marketing.. or storytelling in education and the list just goes on... one particular one that I love is the new Biblical Storytellers Group. Great people are here... no place is perfect but mostly this is a good site. welcome again
