The silver knight - a story of struggle.

Once a long time ago, there lived a Silver Knight. A knight so strong and bold that no other knight in the country could beat him. His armour shone, brighter than the brightest star in the sky, and anyone who saw him, had to look away for the light reflecting off his armour dazzled their gaze.

I have found it to be beneficial as an artist to try new things and stretch my abilities. This keeps me moving forward and… Continue

Revised sketches

Currently I am revising sketches for my new book with Pelican Publishing. Hopefully, these revisions will be finished by the end of this week and I can begin to work on the final illustrations. When this book is published I plan to include some type of storytelling when I talk to children about my art process. I love to see the sparkle in the eyes of children when I talk with them.

Finding New Material

In searching out new story material for my performances I came across a great collection of stories. The stories are in the book Le cercle des menteurs: Contes philosophiques du monde entire by Jean-Claude Carriére. My difficulty as you can see is that the book is written in French. The English translation of the title is: The Circle of Liars: Philosophical tales from the entire world. There is also a Spanish translation of the book. Of course I neither read nor speak either… Continue
