Update on Dianne de Las Casas' Recovery; Monday, December 15, 2008


It's been a week since my hysterectomy. I am happy to say the surgery was successful. I am home, in the recovery process. It hasn't been easy. The first few days were kind of foggy as I relied heavily on medication to get me through the pain. I get around okay but my body is out of whack - my systems don't function as they should. I am off the pain medication so I am much more coherent. I have good days and bad days, just as my doctor promised. I can't wait to get back to… Continue

Gustav: We're Watching You! - Dianne de Las Casas


2 days marks the 3rd anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (August 29, 2005). It's very eerie to see the warnings and all the officials taking extra precautions, preparing for the worst. Several computer models have Gustav heading towards to New Orleans. Right now, the cone extends from the Texas border to Tampa, Florida. We're smack in the middle.
